Phase 2: Project Submission Guide

To successfully submit your hackathon project, follow the guidelines below to ensure your submission is complete and meets the evaluation criteria.

Section Details
Submission Requirements
  • All projects must be submitted via a GitHub repository.
  • The repository should contain all necessary code, dependencies, and artifacts (if needed) required to compile, install, and run the application.
  • Ensure your repository is public or accessible via a shared link.
GitHub Repository Structure

Your repository must include the following:

README.md (Essential Documentation)
  • Project Overview: A brief summary explaining what your project does and the problem it solves.
  • Setup Guide: Step-by-step instructions on how to install and run your application.
  • User Guide: A concise manual describing how users interact with the application.
Code & Dependencies
  • Include all necessary files, libraries, and dependencies required for execution.
  • Ensure the project follows a clear and structured directory format.
Demo Video
  • A maximum 4-minute video demonstrating the key features and functionality of your application.
  • The video should highlight:
    • The problem your project addresses.
    • How your solution works.
    • A walkthrough of the application in action.
  • Upload the video to a public platform (e.g., YouTube, Google Drive, or GitHub) and provide the link in the README.
Additional Notes
  • You may update and resubmit your project multiple times before the deadline. Only the final submission will be evaluated.
  • Ensure your GitHub repository remains accessible throughout the judging period.
  • If using external libraries or third-party code, provide proper attribution and licensing details in the repository.
  • Please make sure to review the Judging Criteria before submitting your project.


Phase 1: Idea Submission Guide

Use this guide to structure and submit your innovative idea for the Nx Venue Innovation Hackathon. Clearly outline your problem, approach, and integration with Nx Toolkit to help us evaluate the creativity and feasibility of your solution.

Section Details
1. Idea Title Provide a concise and descriptive title for your project. (Written on the cover page)
2. Problem Statement Describe the challenge in venue management you are solving with your application. Highlight the real-world impact and opportunities for improvement. (Please refer to the Theme Page above)
3. Approach
  • User Interaction: Describe envisioned user interactions via Nx Client or Mobile. Include sketches or wireframes.
  • Technical Solution: Describe the signal processing start to finish: which AI/ML model(s) will you use? Which post-processing or business rules will you implement? Please provide a visual representation / diagram of the full AI/ML pipeline.
  • Hardware: Describe and motivate on which hardware your solution should run.
4. Nx Integration Explain how Nx tools and infrastructure will be leveraged. Detail features like Nx Toolkit, Nx AI Manager, or APIs and their integration with custom developments.
5. Visual Representation Include sketches, diagrams, or images that illustrate your idea. Visuals should help judges understand the technical architecture, or deployment environment.
6. Innovation and Impact Explain why your idea is unique and how it differs from existing solutions. Highlight its potential impact on venue management, visitor experience, safety, or sustainability.
